Excellent gun cabinet

from Roanoke, VA

For what I was needing, a way to store my rifles where I could keep them locked away, this cabinet is a great value.

My wife helped me carry it down into the basement, where I leveled it out and bolted it to a stud in the wall. A 42" barreled flintlock won't fit, but a 34" barreled 1874 Sharps rifle or a Mosin-Nagant M91 will (it's a close fit!). I think getting 18 rifles in this cabinet would be a bit of a trick, but getting 14 in is no problem.

I had to call Stack-On and order a couple more scope stand-offs, but that was no problem.

The only negative I can think of is that the barrel rests are to high up on the sidewall to rest the barrel of a Handi-Rifle on, so if you have one, you can expect to either lean it in the corner of the cabinet or you can drill a couple new holes in the sidewall and install the barrel rests a bit lower.

Good basic safe

from Klamath Falls, OR

No frills, easy to assemble inside, good lock system at 3 points. Secures to wall and floor. Don't expect a $750 safe for $200. I would buy again for purpose intended. Keeping rifles, handguns and ammo out of the hands of my grandkids.
