Poor Construction

I purchased and returned 3 Roadie 20 charcoal coolers. The first had a lid hinge drilled so badly that the lock holes were not even close to lining up with the cooler closed. The replacement's lid was also mis-drilled, but at least it looked decent while closed. Unfortunately it had a lump ("delam") bottom and poorly-molded interior corners. The replacement for that one, which was pre-inspected, was even worse than the one it replaced. The lid on it squeaks like crazy and the drain is so poorly molded that it leaks.

Perfect for weekend trips

I bought this cooler at the beginning of the summer... After multiple weekend trips up to remote Appalachian streams in the hot summer months ice held for the entire weekend and was nice to come back to camp after a long day of fly fishing and have some cold drinks! Thanks Yeti!

Awesome Cooler

My husband bought him this cooler and he is a welder and works in some hot places. Yet his drinks stay cold and ice will stay frozen for 3 to 4 days. And I took it and had these gratis put on it.

Great cooler

I've got a roadie 20, and it never lets me down. So I've bought a tundra 35 and yeti does not fail! Thanks for the great products!!!

Takes one for the team

Took my 35 to the beach around 7am to watch the local airshow. Zero shade. Few buddies brought coolers so I figured I'd let them have what little shade we had. By 1pm, their coolers in the shade were all 50% or more melted. My Yeti in the 90 degree direct sun light still looked basically brand new (minus a few beers). It should also be noted that I did pre cool overnight with about 10 pounds of ice, and started off with cold beers. Spend the 30 seconds of prepping your Yeti properly, and you'll be rewarded with significantly better ice retention.

Not at all what was advertised

Got the yeti 20 cause it would fit in my softball wagon. I can fill it will drinks and ten pounds of ice and in less than 24 hours all the ice is melted. Neibor says the same thing about his. As a test I put 20 pounds of ice in it in my house in less than 2 days the ice was gone and only opened it to check ice. Very disappointed to say the least

"Call me crazy but...."

The proof is in the pudding. I have always believed in the old adage you get what you pay for. I quite often get ridiculed by people who think I'm crazy to have spent that much money on a cooler but my question back to them is always "I'm guessing you have never owned a Yeti product" After owning and being extremely impressed by both the Rambler Tumbler and Rambler Bottle we decided to purchase the Roadie 20 while on our annual trip to Myrtle Beach SC. We drive down every year and had brought an older department store cheapie (not sure which model it was) to keep drinks and snacks cold for the road trip. After 8 hours on the road there was significantly less ice and lots of soggy items from all the melted ice. We had finally had enough so we decided for the trip home we would buy the Roadie 20. We left Myrtle Beach on Saturday morning and when we stopped 10 hours later for the night, it didn't appear to me that any of the ice had melted at all. When we finally arrived home after approximately 36 hours there was very minimal melting of the ice. I emptied all the items from the cooler and decided just for fun to leave just the ice in the cooler on my kitchen floor. Three days later the ice was finally all gone but the water was still ice cold, Call me crazy but that's why I buy Yeti.

Yeti Roadie 20 is worse than my Igloo

I have a Yeti Tundra 65 that stays on my boat, is always in the sun and it keeps ice for a very, very long time. Its a great cooler. It is what Yeti says they are. I have a Roadie 20 and hate it. Walmart quality at best. It leaks. The handle pops out of cooler on occasion. It does not keep ice even when inside the house. It weighs a ton, so don't plan on carrying it anywhere. The Roadie 20 is NOT what Yeti say they; or the cooler are. I'm thinking of planting some flowers in it. It just might make a cool planter.

only used it one time, water leak

I bought it a month ago can use it, defective cooler

Last cooler you'll ever buy

I am really happy with my Roadie cooler! I take it everywhere and my beers stay cold all day no problem. Some say this is the last cooler you'll ever buy, but I ended up buying a 35qt Coral, a 45qt High Country, a 105qt High Country and just today I received my 65qt Wetlands... This is definitely the last brand of cooler I'll ever buy.
