Just finished building a couple of fly rods. Tthis looks like it could be aluminum in the picture, but with the price so cheap and after looking througout the entire product information, I assumed it was plastic....and they seemed to be avoiding sharing that fact. Having said all that, no reason to do that because for the price I find there is real value.The plastic is thin but the plus is that the tube is very light yet very rigid with a nice finish. The end caps are riveted on and the end that opens looks to be well built and will hold up nicely under normal wear. I am on the web site not to write this review, but purchase another to send to my son for his fly rod

Made for two piece rods, mine fits fine. I liked that it had foam on the ends so it wont break your rod if you throw it in the back of your truck, decent price too.

I bought one of these to travel with. It worked faily well with the exception of the material, it was a little soft. other then that it was a quality product.
