It's great when shooting on the competition range. It allows for faster reloading without fumbling for caps.. I wouldn't go hunting without it. Once you get used to it.. its indispensable. Before you take it out, I suggest a minor adjustment. I use #11 caps, so I used it, and the caps kept falling out of the capper. I took a pair of needle nose pliers and slightly bent the end in.. it was much better.. after a few adjustments ( both ways) it now grips my caps firmly, and allows quick release onto the nipple.
