Smokehouse Smoker Insulation Blanket- The wrap-around Smoker Insulation Blanket is the newest innovation for keeping the heat in your smoker during extreme weather conditions and promotes very even smoking and heat consistency. We recommend that you use the Insulation Blanket whenever the temperature dips below 50 degrees. These are one size fits all, so if you have a Big Chief Smoker, the Insulation Blanket will go all the way around the unit, and if you have a Little Chief Smoker, it will go around almost twice, with Velcro provided as a closer. The Insulation Blanket does not cover the top of the smoker, so you can easily open the lid of your top-load smoker to check the food. If you have a front-load smoker, you will have to unwrap the Insulation Blanket in order to open the door of the smoker, but the Velcro patches on the Insulation Blanket make it easy to wrap and unwrap the smoker.

There are no specs, so I CANNOT make a decision on buying this blanket. I have a 16" x 34" Vertical smoker. I need to know the R- rating and dimensions so I know it will fit all around my smoker.
This smoker blanket does the job, but it is not very convenient when you are trying to get in and out of the smoker to check the temperatures of your meat-I would reccomend buying a digital thermometer that stays in the meat while it cooks, with the temperature display on the outside of the smoker-that way you do not have to get in and out as much.
