I was drawn for an Archery Bull Elk tag last year and needed to outfit myself with new supplies from a new bow and broadheads to new Camo's. While in the store I wandered into the shoe department to get some new hiking socks. While there I decided to take a look at the hunting boots. I was looking at the lesser priced boots, since I am not one to spend a lot of money on myself, when I saw these Kenetrek boots. I exclaimed to the sales associate "what could possibly cost so much?!" Boy did I get an earful! After I had been fully educated on the benefits and features of the boot; everything from the waterproof membrane, last, thick nubuck leather, durable outsole and warranty, I decided to try them on. I was immediately suprised by the comfort. They fit my feet very well. They seem like such a stiff boot but are easy to walk in. There is just enough curve to the outsole that they are not tiring on an all day hike. They are very supportive and not too bad looking either. It rained during half my hunt but my feet stayed dry and warm the entire time. I have not regretted the choice I made or the money spent since day one. Now I just need to convince my husband that he needs a pair.
