I lit this mantle prior to my camping trip. It lit well and has held its' form/shape through the hike and lit at the campsite with no problems. After a second hike, the mantle lost some material thru the jarring process and needed to be replaced. When intact, the lamp and mantle produced a GREAT cascade of bright light! Thanks!
