Caddis Men's Northern Guide Ultralite Felt Sole Wading Boots - Lightweight Gets Even Lighter. Northern Guide. Our Lightest Wading Shoe Ever! When purchasing wading boots, generally buy one size up from your regular hiking boot size. This is to accommodate for the stocking foot wader that will fill up the boot.

Ok at best
Bought rubber sole ones for $69. I fished every day for 2 hours, within 1 week I realized the soles were not adequate. Within 3 weeks the major seam down the side started opening up. Bought stud kid $20. Helped, but pretty much every time you wade you lose a stud. Bought felt sole kit $35. Barely avoided running out of glue on the second boot. Glued gaping seam at the same time with e600. As of now I have had them 10 months and they are basically slowly falling apart. Next time I will spend a little more and get better quality boots with felt bottoms. Dont waste time with rubber soles or studs or these self destructing cheapies.

Photo of what I tried to describe in previous review.
Granted these are not top of the line boots, but considering the price I would have expected they would not fall apart after two trips to the river. The stitching on both boots just failed, one entire side of one boot came completely apart. I was a mile plus from my truck and had to wrap the boot in paracord just to hold it together to make it back.

Couldnt be happier. Light and comfortable. First wading boots, but i did my homework and couldnt ask for more for the price.

This boot is very light weight and has good support. The felt sole has held on very well unlike other boots I've had in the past.
