Browning McKinley Sleeping Bag - The McKinley is a "heavy duty" oversized hooded rectangle bag. It uses a 2-layer offset construction to eliminate cold spots. The McKinley series use Techloft Insulation. Techloft Insulation consists of multi-hole staple-length micro-denier fibers that have a siliconized finish for maximum insulation, loft, and compactness. It will keep you toasty on those colder nights when you'd prefer to have more "wiggle room" than you get with your mummy bag. The contoured hood also helps keep you warmer and keeps your warmth sealed in. For transporting, we include a compression stuff sack and roll-up straps. This is a great hunting bag for those frigid nights when you want a good night sleep.

  • 210T Nylon Diamond Ripstop Outer
  • Microfiber Liner
  • TechLoft Insulation - 2 Layer Construction
  • Insulated Chest and Zipper Baffle
  • Compression Stuff Sack
  • Oversized Hooded Rectangle with number 10 Zippers

Great bag for the price!

Nice warm bag, too warm for where I've used it so far. Minor complaints: The zipper needs to go all the way around the foot, and the zipper is a little tricky. Needs a better baffle to help with this. It's big and does not compact well. Great for car camping, not so much for backpacking. The only reason it gets four stars instead of five is the zipper.

Love it. Could fit two small people but in my case plenty of room to sprawl! Camped in temps down to freezing. Have yet to zip it up all the way! Comfortable and cozy. 13 lbs of sleeping pleasure, certainly not a backpacking bag.

Bought this to replace a worn out bag. Used it at duck camp about a dozen times and then threw it away. One would think that Browning could come with a way for the zippers to cleanly engage/disengage. Not so. I found myself constantly unsnagging the zippers from the interior lining. Several times I couldn't get the bag open/closed without crawling out of the bag and fighting with the zipper. So frustrating I dumped it.

Bought the -30 bag and glad I did. On a recent elk hunt it got down to single digits every night. Sleeping in only shorts and a t-shirt, I slept comfortably. I prefer the flannel liner this bag has compared to the taffeta which it seems is the norm for everyone else. By far the best sleeping bag I've ever owned, better than bags I've paid twice as much for.

Bought the minus 30 bag. Well made and comfortable. My smaller size of 5'7 slim fit nicely as I am claustrophobic in a mummy bag. First night of BSA Klondike it was 4 degrees. Slept in my underwear and was warm all night. Next night was 24 degrees and ended up sweating. Had to get into my lighter sleeping bag I had underneath. Normally I need extra to stay warm but not with this bag. Cannot verify the minus 30, but know 10-15 degrees for the max high of this bag.

Bought two of these this year... talk about luxurious sleeping! I am a fairly large person and I had plenty of room. The inside fabric warms you right up (no lying around trying to get warmed up so you can sleep)! Got down to 12 degrees F and we slept very warm & toasty. Only down side is that it is a very large bag that can't be compressed easily for travel -- can only truck-camp with it, no backpacking! That being said, it's an awesome bag for it's intended use.

Purchased this sleeping bag for a Moose hunt to Alberta, Canada, this October. The outfitter recommended a sleeping bag that was good to -30F to -40F to ensure a good night's sleep. I found the sleeping bag at Sportsman's Warehouse meeting my needs and at a great price. This is a nice warm and roomy sleeping bag but it's not small (huge) or designed for backpacking which I don't need to worry about.

I purchased this bag for my son. I purchased one for myself last year and was very pleased with it. The bag is somewhat bulky, however, it is over sized to accomodate larger frames. Plenty of wiggle room. It was toasty warm during my elk hunt in the high country. Great bag for the price.

This bag is great. Plenty of room and very comfy. Nice and warm. It's big and a little heavy but it's not intended for backpacking but instead campgrounds. I use it all the time at home now.

Great bag, it would be a lot better if the zipper was continued all the way around the foot box and if the left side had a short zip for comfort. The strap attachments at the foot are a bit of a pain. For the price it is great, but I would have paid more with better zipper design.
