Alps Lynx 4 Person Backpacking Tent

Bought this in late August while moving between wildfires as I wanted more room for gear than the 2 person tent I was using had. This tent is an excellent trade-off between size and weight, light enough to pack yet large enough to be functional. My only issue was I had a tent pole snap the second time I set the tent up! I was seriously concerned as the fire camp was on a lake shore and winds of 20-30 mph through the valley were common. I secured the pole temporarily (think of the greatest tape known to mankind), but worried the fabric would rip in the wind. Contacted Alps (Rae Jean in customer service) the next morning and, with some help of a local golf course, she overnighted a new set of poles to me! Even with the broken pole temporarily fixed the tent never ripped or had an issue with the wind! This is an excellent tent with plenty of room for two and a bunch of gear or 4 with little gear. It will take the wind and the little rain it saw shed with no issues. It has two interior pockets and a "hammock" that hangs at the top inside for lights and such. Definitely a warm season tent as the top is open mesh, however the rain fly keeps out nearly all of the wind and helps to keep it a bit warmer.
Although there was one issue, in my opinion Rae Jean at Alps customer service still understands customer service and went above overnighting the poles to take care of a customer...Well Done! Overall an excellent purchase and would buy again!
