Product worked great. Bought it for Mule deer hunting in Eastern Oregon. Just be sure to read the directions first!!! Very easy to set up, very easy to use - especially after you read the directions.

Great product, if the water does not get hot enough I prefer to put the shower head in the storage container and let the water go through a cycle or two. I do not know how I lived without this for so long. This will make taking a cold shower every 3-4 days to a more regular occurrence which my camping friends should appreciate!

Missy of Colorado Springs, CO - December, 18 2011:

I bought this shower 2 years ago after using the solar shower bags for years(solar bags are horrible by the way unless you boil the water first!). I love this propane shower! I have used it at elevations of 8000ft-9000ft in summer and during elk season. I was impressed by how hot the water actually got. My husband thought it was a waste of money and didnt think it would be worth it. He changed his mind pretty quick when he tried it the first time. He couldnt believe how quickly the water heated up and that the temp stayed very consistant for his entire shower. I love it and will never go camping again with out it.

J.Robbin Hajek of Central Point, OR - February, 03 2011:

A two star product at best.Does not work well at elevations above 5000 ft.,where we hunt and fish.Propane cylinders must be kept above freezing and nearly full to work right.Portable cylinders were worthless,2.5 gallon much better,if kept warm.Have seen homemade showers that were great, and I will copy these instead. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE ZODI.2 stars for summer low elevation use,ONE star otherwise for a cool to lukewarm shower.

I've owned this Zodi shower for a number of years and except with one pump motor going bad, I have nothing but good to say about it. Granted I don't hunt really high altitudes normally, but as one reviewer mentioned the.propane bottle works inefficiently when cold but this is easily remedied. My method of use is: fill container with water (about four gallons) light the burner then put the water pickup and spray nozzle into the reservoir. When the water is my preferred temperature I turn off the burner and pump. I then run the nozzle and pump battery/switch inside my shower enclosure. I'll rinse off and shut off the pump, soap down and turn the water pump back on. If I don't linger I can save a gallon but most often I'll use all the warm water to clean off and enjoy a nice warm/hot shower. The only downside is the pump doesn't have a heavy flow, but this is a blessing in disguise so you have plenty of water. I've learned that if the temps are too cold and the propane won't "flash off" reliably for a good burn, I'll put the bottle into the reservoir water. One the propane bottle heats up, the burner works great! Zodi once made a two-burner model which would heat the water faster, but I've never found a single burner to be a hindrance. If you are in the market for a portable shower, this would be a great buy. As an aside, the subdivision I live in used to have many (!) water main breaks ai getting a hot shower could be a PITA, but the Zodi shower has more than paid for itself! Were I the change anything, I'd make the pickup/dispense tubing of another material. IF you store the unit and the tube gets a kink in it, it never seems to want to become fully round again. This can cause an obstruction if the water flow since the tubing is pinched.
