Mark of Eielson AFB, AK, AK - January, 22 2016:

These boots are made for the mountains. They take a while to break in and you have to lace them tight, but the support they provide is unmatched. Great for high altitude hunting!

Cory of Reno, NV - January, 17 2014:

Would not recommend. The lace loop pins fall out leaving you with a boot that needs to be worn tight but you cant keep it laced up if the loops fall off. I wore these one day hunting and about mid day I noticed my left boot was loose, so i went to tighten it and one loop and pin was completely gone. Now i cant keep boot tight so my already sore, raw heal really rubbed making for a bad day. The boot is so stiff when you walk it makes your heal rub unless you get them so tight they hurt. Recommendations. Lace Loops that wont fall off due to poor pin attachment design, and 10" tops for more leverage to stop heal slip. Hope this saves some headache for you!

Justin of Dubois, WY - August, 13 2014:

Very nice Mountain boots. These are sheep, goat hunting boots they need to be stiff for ankle support. Had Kenntreks before these and these are very durable and comfortable. Again read the description before you knock a boot. These are call Ibex for a reason, not elk, moose, etc. Have a few hundred miles on these already, and have peformed flawless.
