Winchester Supreme 500 S&W 350gr Dual Bond

Winchester SUP 500S&W 350DB - The Supreme Elite Dual Bond offers a large hollow point cavity, which provides consistent upsets at a variety of ranges and impact velocities. The heavy outer jacket is mechanically bonded to the inner bullet. The inner bullet utilizes a proprietary bonding process which welds the lead core to a second jacket which results in a design that provides for a combination of knockdown power, solid penetration and significant tissue damage while retaining nearly 100% of the original weight.

This ammunition gets nasty! In the picture on the far right is the bullet after it hits its target. It opens up like a freakin octopus! Since I don't have ballistics gel, I cannot observe its destructive power. After shooting a log with a 4" diameter I noticed that the bullet of couse left a half inch hole in the shooting serface but blew out a much bigger hole out of the back and left a 10 gauge tunnel in the ground behind it. It gets a 4 because its price is high and I haven't shot too many of these to determin its performance as perfect.
