I fired 3 test shots with these and had a 1/2 inch group at 100 yards.what made this even better is there was no scope adjustments needed when I swaped from Win. Supreme Power Point Plus. I am sure that the procted hollow point will do its job when needed.Scott of Umatilla, FL - November, 26 2012:
I shoot a Savage Model 110 270 and was using the Winchester Super X 130 GR rounds. I'm a pretty good shot and even getting heart shots I was seeing my deer run 30 - 40 yards before piling up. In the thick brush of South Texas that can mean a pretty tough game-drag through thorns and thistles. I read up on the PowerMax and thought I would try them out. When I re-sighted my rifle in I was 3 inches right and 7 inches low but got it spot on. I have since shot three deer with this round and although one was a head shot (he wasn't getting up) the other two went down right where I hit them. One was a South Texas buck at 125 yards and the other was a big Wisconsin doe at 100 yards. Both went down hard. I believe in the PowerMax Bonded.
