I recently spent three days fishing Pyramid Lake in Nevada. As you may or may not know, the preferred way to fish for giant Lahontan cutthroats in this lake is to stand on ladders approx. 50-75 yards from shore and stripping in your fly rig. After spending a couple of hours cursing the fact that my stripped line kept getting hung up on protruding parts of my ladder I remembered that I had one of these William Joseph stripping baskets in my truck. Waded in, got the basket, waded back out - problem solved. Great tool to have in certain situations.
