Price is a big factor for me. I tossed this purchase around in my head for a good month or two. Tried the Vortex diamondbacks and similar priced Leupolds,Alpens,Nikons. Tried them outside the store with salesman. They were all good. Leaning toward thre Vortex brand. Then tried the Vortex viper HD,s. Wow... Notably higher quality optics. Against the more expensive competitors it was a easy choice. Add the life time unconditional warranty . Cant beat the deal. Very good in low light and even in moon light I can make out images. Very crisp clear images. I was surprised when my wife picked them up oone morning and was scoping out the back 40 and said wow these are really good. How much were they? Just replied I got 50 off the regular price. Happened to catch a on line discount code. Good luck hunting. I am super impressed and happy with these.
