Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope - The Diamondback scope completely changes the rules. First, the solid one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum alloy construction makes it virtually indestructible and highly resistant to magnum recoil. Argon purging puts waterproof and fogproof performance on the agenda and the advanced, fully multi-coated optics raise an eyebrow when crystal clear, tack sharp images appear in the crosshairs. All this and more in a riflescope that seems like it should cost so much more - but doesn't.

  • Advanced fully multi-coated optics
  • Precision-Glide Erector System
  • Waterproof and fogproof with argon gas purging
  • Solid one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum alloy
  • Fast focus eyepiece

Ive owned three of these scopes so far and recommend them to ANYONE who is in the market for an economic hunting optic.
As for their warranty, I submitted one such scope that fell from approximately 4 feet onto a concrete floor and was utterly ruined. Vortex had my rebuilt scope back in my hand(in Alaska) in under two weeks and it didn't cost me a dime.
In summation, I HIGHLY recommend this optic for anyone who wants quality materials, excellent construction, great low-light capability and anti-fog properties all at an affordable price. My friends, you won't be disappointed!

Originally I bought a Crossfire because my 6 year old budget Simmons was fogging up. I shot less than two boxes of ammo (30-06 180 grain bullets) with the Crossfire and the rear lens popped out from the kick of the gun. Vortex warrantied the scope and let me step up to the Diamondback by paying the price difference. I haven't had any problems with the scope other than shooting out to 300-400 yards. Originally I didn't think I would be shooting this far, but have twice found myself with Elk that were between 300-500 yards. I've also been target shooting with buddies at these distances. Shooting past 300 yards with this scope is difficult because the optics start to become blurry; I couldn't adjust out the blurriness with the eye relief. I thought it would have been a little better for a 12 power scope. Might just be my eyes, but I didn't have the same problems when looking through a much more expensive scope at 500 yards. I wouldn't recommend the V-plex for anything past 250 yard mark because it is hard to adjust for bullet drop using Kentucky Windage. I would recommend the Dead-Hold BDC instead. If I was to do it all over again I would have forked out the extra cash and bought a Viper with the turrets.

Deer Killers Down!!!

By

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

95% of my predator hunting is done at night. That being said, this Diamondback sits atop one of my AR's. the low magnification is perfect for when wiley sneeks in on me and i have to get fast acquisition of my target aka Wile E. Coyote. i have got dogs from 35 yards out to 175 at night. I have also rang steel at 225 yards with this. best bang for the buck hands down..

Fantastic Scope for the Money

By

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

Great lightweight scope with an excellent reticle and fantastic glass for the money.

This scope sat on my 30-06 for a few years until I was in a position to upgrade a few product lines (obviously still staying with Vortex though!). A friend then bought it off me after using it on a hunt as he wanted to replace his more expensive scope from another manufacturer with it! I hunted a wide variety of climates and locations with this scope and it never let me down. Only complaint was that the eye relief was a little tight for my preferences however you still won't find a better scope at this price.

Wow

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I'm rather new to the shooting/hunting game and was told about Vortex by a friend. I had another remington rifle with a entry level scope and went threw 38 rounds trying to "0" at 100 (my buddy even had me shot his gun to make sure it wasn't the shooter). I get a new model seven from Santa this year and pick up the Diamondback HP 4-12x40. Had it "0" in 5 shots at 100 and hit a 12" gong at 200 4 straight times. The glass is the clearest and is easily adjustable. I plan on picking up a semi auto here soon and will put a Viper on that. Thanks Vortex, looking forward to the '17 hunting season!!!!

Fantastic scope

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

Clear picture, ease of use. Dead hold reticle has been accurate for me out to 300 yards, which is the longest range I have access to. I have spent a lot more and gotten a lot less our a riflescope in the past.

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I have owned the same scope with zero flaws, used it in my 45-70 for a number of years and eventually put it on a 6.5. Great mid range hunting scope that is simple and easy to use.

Firm Beleiver

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I have owned multiple different brands of scopes over the Years. From Leopold to the Cheapies. I have found my new go to Scope and Binocular Brand. I bought this scope wondering what it would be like. I Put this on my 300 Win Mag and was shooting groups of a half inch at 400 yards no problem all day long. I worried how it would hold up to the Magnum and it has impressed me. Thank you Vortex.

Great Little Scope At A Great Little Price

By

from Alexandria, KY

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

This little Diamondback 2-7x35 has done everything I have asked it to. It has the same great clarity and toughness of its bigger brothers, just in a little smaller package. I've been using this scope on an H&R handi-rifle in 44mag for a little over 2 years now. It has held zero and taken a beating. The sling swivel stud on my rifle has decided to break free from the stock 3 times now. Each of those times the rifle has gone tumbling to the ground. If the little scope can handle that and keep on kicking it's a great scope in my book. The Diamondback series offers great glass clarity at a great price.

An Awesome Scope At An Awesome Price!

By

from Alexandria, KY

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

The Diamondback series of optics is what got me hooked on Vortex. It started with the binos and led to scopes. My 3-9x40 with v-plex reticle is currently on my muzzleloader. This scope has withstood the recoil as well as being bumped and knocked around a little in the deer woods. The clarity of glass is excellent in this price point and even better than some above. The Diamondback is a basic no frills scope that just does what it needs to do. It's clear, holds zero, has positive/repeatable adjustments, and it can take some abuse. If you want a riflescope that you can rely on for your hunt without breaking the bank then the Diamondback is your answer.

Awesome medium range hunting scope

By

from Los lunas, nm

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

Great hunting scope. I own multiple. Nothing bad to say about them for western hunting. I have them on pellets guns all the way up to a 300 wsm with no complaints. Switched to these over another reputable brand mainly due to the great customer service and warranty.
