Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope - The Diamondback scope completely changes the rules. First, the solid one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum alloy construction makes it virtually indestructible and highly resistant to magnum recoil. Argon purging puts waterproof and fogproof performance on the agenda and the advanced, fully multi-coated optics raise an eyebrow when crystal clear, tack sharp images appear in the crosshairs. All this and more in a riflescope that seems like it should cost so much more - but doesn't.

  • Advanced fully multi-coated optics
  • Precision-Glide Erector System
  • Waterproof and fogproof with argon gas purging
  • Solid one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum alloy
  • Fast focus eyepiece

Ive owned three of these scopes so far and recommend them to ANYONE who is in the market for an economic hunting optic.
As for their warranty, I submitted one such scope that fell from approximately 4 feet onto a concrete floor and was utterly ruined. Vortex had my rebuilt scope back in my hand(in Alaska) in under two weeks and it didn't cost me a dime.
In summation, I HIGHLY recommend this optic for anyone who wants quality materials, excellent construction, great low-light capability and anti-fog properties all at an affordable price. My friends, you won't be disappointed!

Originally I bought a Crossfire because my 6 year old budget Simmons was fogging up. I shot less than two boxes of ammo (30-06 180 grain bullets) with the Crossfire and the rear lens popped out from the kick of the gun. Vortex warrantied the scope and let me step up to the Diamondback by paying the price difference. I haven't had any problems with the scope other than shooting out to 300-400 yards. Originally I didn't think I would be shooting this far, but have twice found myself with Elk that were between 300-500 yards. I've also been target shooting with buddies at these distances. Shooting past 300 yards with this scope is difficult because the optics start to become blurry; I couldn't adjust out the blurriness with the eye relief. I thought it would have been a little better for a 12 power scope. Might just be my eyes, but I didn't have the same problems when looking through a much more expensive scope at 500 yards. I wouldn't recommend the V-plex for anything past 250 yard mark because it is hard to adjust for bullet drop using Kentucky Windage. I would recommend the Dead-Hold BDC instead. If I was to do it all over again I would have forked out the extra cash and bought a Viper with the turrets.

I sell hundreds of these for good reason

By

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I work for a gun company that sells Vortex Products. When customers buy a gun and ask for a suggestion of optics I almost always suggest Vortex; specifically the Diamondback. The Diamondback series is a great bang for the buck. The glass is clear even when there is little light. The scope is user friendly with easy to adjust settings. All of this is combined with their awesome customer service and lifetime warranty. I frequently have customers return and thank me for introducing them to Vortex. It is at that point that they usually buy another one for their other rifles. If your looking for a scope that has double the value of your money, look no further than the diamondback series.

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I bought this Optic for my wife's .308. I zeroed the optic and on her second hunt she dropped a doe at 200yds in it's tracks. She couldn't stop bragging about how amazing the clarity was in the optic. You have a huge fan and a happy husband who will be getting his own shortly. and the even better part is the amazing warranty. Well done Vortex!

After buying the wrong scope over and over again. Spending good money after bad. I wanted great optics at a good price. I took a look at the Vortex Diamondback 4-12 x 40 and I will never go back to other brands. Clear , Sharp and built tough. What moRe could you ask for.

Very good low budget scope

By

from Mobile, AL

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I searched for a couple of months for a low power scope that would ft my needs. I have a similar Nikon scope. The Diamondback is cheaper. The reticle is more precise. Both scopes have BDC reticles. I prefer the Vortex. The viewing area around the reticle is more open and the reticle itself is less confusing when you trying to make those quick reference long distance shots. This scope is definitely worth more than the asking price. Vortex has set the bar high for scopes under $300 with the Diamondback.

Not a single complaint to be had.

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I have been using this scope since I bought my first AR, and I have had zero difficulties with it. No issues holding zero, and the image retains clarity up to 7x. For the price, there are few competitors, and I intend to use this optic for a long time into the future.

exactly what I wanted

By

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I couldn't' afford a top of the line scope so this model Vortex was an excellent choice for me. I don't hunt often so I wanted a scope that would give me the best chance for my limited opportunities. The optics are clear, bright and the BDC is easy to use. Often it's windy where I hunt so the wind drift compensation feature is very helpful.

Very nice scope!

Comments about Vortex Optics Vortex Diamondback Rifle Scope:

I bought this scope and had it on a Ruger M77 Mark II .300 Win Mag, which are known for a massive amount of recoil. Shot it a bunch, never had an issue. Always held zero and the BDC is to die for. Recently got rid of the .300 mag and put the scopen on my dad's .308. He loves it! With the program for the mil-dots and BDC it makes it very easy to use!

Thanks for the great product!
