These binoculars are great for the money. To put it simply, you have to spend more to get better binoculars! These are the best in the $200 range. They have also done a great job by following Nikon with the no-fault warranty. That's what we all want when we spend our hard-earned money, especially in today's economy. We want to know that if we have an accident with our binos, we're not out the money that we spent on them. This is a company that makes a commitment to you when you buy their binoculars and they want you to come back to them again.

You can not beat the bang for the buck you get with this pair of Optics. They are perfect for the spot and stalk type of hunting that is common in this portion of the country. Extremely clear as well as fog and water proof you just can't beat it. They also have a nice rubber coating, and strap and case. I've gone through many pairs of optics, and now need to look no further. To top it all off Vortex offers a lifetime, no questions asked warranty.

One of the best ways to describe the Vortex Diamondback binoculars would be to say that they have incredible bang for the buck. The binoculars have a very solid feel which is comparable to binoculars costing hundreds of dollars more. The phase coated prisms provide a very bright, neutral-color image. The Diamondbacks are waterproof and fogproof, which is a must for most hunting situations. The rubber armor has a good feel, and is textured enough to provide a very solid grip, even with gloves on. The twist-up eye cups have detents to keep them in place. The Diamondbacks are tripod mountable, and have an incredible close focus of only five feet. These are both big advantages to the birding enthusiast. Overall, I was very impressed with these glasses. I've looked through a lot of binoculars, and I've only really been surprised a few times. The Diamondback was one of the binoculars that surprised me. It's a terrific piece with a real-world price. Well done Vortex.

I have looked at a lot of binoculars and the Diamond is impressive, not only a great price but the bang you get for your dollar is, to say the leased great! After using Other optics in the field and knowing how hard I am on them it's nice to know the warranty is going to cover any thing that might happen.

I have looked at the new model of the Vortex Diamondback and share the same opinion! I LOVE THESE THINGS! These binos offer so much for your money! No matter if its the Argon gas to help them resist the moisture or the soft rubber eye cups, these binos are first class! If you are looking for a great budget buy, I would strongly point you this way indeed. Vortex is a great company to buy from and you know youre getting a great product when they back it up so well! Who knew you could get so much warranty for that price range anyway? Great job Vortex optics and I cant wait to see what else you do! By the way, Vortex offers many other great items form binos to tripods, and spotting scopes to rifle scopes! They do it all!
