I am partial to scoped rifles for multiple uses. The 2-7x magnification works great for an Ar15 or other high velocity small caliber rounds but you could use it for whatever you like. This scope is clear, durable, and comparable to scopes that cost much more.
The Bdc reticle makes estimating longer
shots much easier and the instruction manuel included will show you how to use it. The turrets are nice but the clicks could be a little more positive. The scope holds zero very well and I havent had any issues. Its hard to complain when I got this scope for 120 dollars. Both the focus ring and magnification ring are smooth and easy to use in the field. My biggest issue is that the eye relief is fairly long in my experience compared to other rifle scopes but this is hardly an issue as the scope can be moved to suit your needs on whatever mount you are using. If you are reading this and considering a buy, do it because you wont find a better scope for the money anywhere else.

I bought this a while ago and mounted it on a 7mm magnum browning A-bolt. After a half a box of shells The windage and elevation knobs are so loose It simply won't dial in a hundred yard shot. I know Vortex will fix it for free but have not had the time to send it in as of yet. My suggestion is don't mount one on a magnum rifle. I plan to mount it on a .223 after its fixed under warranty. My first Vortex was in the 1,000 dollar range a viper FFP 6-24x50mm and was mounted on a .338 winchester magnum had ZERO problems with it so it may just be a fluke.

Great!

By

from Fairbanks, AK

Threw this scope on my .300 win mag hesitantly due to some of the reviews saying it couldn't handle the recoil. But have had no issues with around 200 rounds through it. Accurate and clear, all around great scope for the price!

Yes

By

from Brooklyn Park MN

I've been shopping around for a great scope that fits my budget and also my needs. After all the research, it came down to the Vortex Crossfire II V-brite rifle scope. I know it's not a rimfire scope but I knew it had all the things that I needed for my new Savage A17. After only 4 shots at 50 yards, I was zero in hitting penny size markings on my target. There were times I had to use my spotting scope to look at my target. To my surprise I was hitting the same bullet hole on the target. Not to mention, the scope has never been boresighted... After zeroing my new scope in at 50 yards, I was able to hit bullseye at 100 yards without adjusting the scope. For the clarity of the scope, it has a great and crisp clear view on all my targets. It was also clear on low light conditions during my afternoon hunts. Not to mention, all Vortex optics comes with a Unconditional Warranty so you really have nothing to lose... Yes, this is my first Vortex scope and I'll be buying more of Vortex products in the near future. Vortex for life!

Great Muzzle Loader Scope

By

from Pine Valley, UT

I recently mounted this scope to my CVA Optima V2 and got it all sited in very quickly. The clarity and ease of use with this scope is excellent. This is the second rifle scope I have purchased through Vortex and I have 0 complaints. Great product at a great price.

Great scope for the money!

You can't beat this scope for the money. Put it on my heavy barrel Ruger M77 .308, and it shoots like a champ.

I'd buy more of these of the wife understood

By

from San Antonio, TX

So I bought this scope to put on my bolt action. The wife wasn't too thrilled, cause I was again spending money. It took her a couple months to even go shooting with me. After the second shot, she was sold. All I have to do now, I'd upgrade to the Diamondback 4-12.

Another Great Product by Vortex

By

from Waverly, New York

I researched many scope read many reviews and found that more customers liked Vortex not because of its popularity, but bc of the product itself, and the VIP warranty. As I took this scope to be put on my gun at a local shop 2 employees asked me where I bought it and why, as this was the 3rd one they had seen that week. I explained the warranty and they now carry the Vortex Brand. I have bought more Vortex products since then and I will be buying more in the future.

Excellent Quality

By

from Magnolia, Texas

I came across this scope a few years back and never got around to writing a review. I was at my local gun shop after just finishing a new AR build. The owner offered this optic to me at a fantastic price since Vortex was still fairly new to the market and I was hesitant. I paired it with a Primary Arms 1" rail mount and did a 50yd sight in that afternoon. The glass was clear and I was very happy with it. That rifle and optic went on to be my 3-gun rifle for the next 2 years with about 10,000 rounds of being thrown around and abused. Not once did it ever lose zero and we routinely shoot from 5 yards to 650 yards, we also throw the rifles into dump barrels without much regard to being gentle. Vortex also sponsors several major 3-Gun competitions around the country and I cannot thank them enough for that. I still have this optic in the safe but have changed over to something new, you guessed it, another Vortex. This time a 1x6-24.

Excellent scope and great value!

By

from Jamestown, Ca.

This rifle was mounted in my Remington 700 SPS Varmint and has thoroughly impressed me. The glass is ultra clear. The turrets have a very tactile and audible click and the scope tracks great. I have the utmost confidence when using this scope.

Great scope!

By

from Milwaukee, WI

I bought a rifle that already had a scope on it. After 2 trips to the range I could not zero it, the glass was foggy, the scope was all over the board. So I swung by the store and picked up a Vortex Crossfire II. I figured for the money why not give it a shot. Mounted the scope and headed back to the range. I like this scope more than my more expensive scopes. Nice clear glass, holds zero, looks nice, what else could I want from a scope? When venturing into glass, I always check Vortex first.

i would buy this product again

By

from calumet,mi

My scope broke and needed one in a hurry I found this crossfire 2 I wasn't sure about it but bought it anyways. I did notice the glass was very clear and resettable turrets. I installed it on my AR 15 it went on easy. I sighted it in and I am pretty impressed with the ease of use and the turrets its pretty accurate. Hits where the cross hairs are aimed. I would buy their products again.
