Was initially disappointed the dot was not round but looked like a rectangle! I forgot I have astigmatism put my glasses on for distance (LOL) and "WOW" dot is perfect... Awesome scope for my AR.

This is a superb product. I have recommended it to several people now and I know they all like it. I watched my uncle drop a pig at over 200 yards. I have shot and have no problem making 90% + hits on a 20X20 inch plate at 400 yards. The dot shows up very nicely even in this bright desert in the middle of the day. Great run time, only small complaint is the batteries are kind of expensive but nothing Vortex can do about that. I highly recommend buying this product.

Mounted on a AR15 carbine. Works great. Can acquire a target instantly with both eyes open. Results out to 100yds - excellent. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing one.

For the money it is an outstanding site for close quarters engagements. I put two thousand rounds through it and it has still held its zero. The only downside is that anything past 100 yds you tend to get four to six inch groups just because of the size of the dot.

Did a lot of research before I made my purchase. Well worth the money. Very clear and clean optics. Easy adjustment for windage and elevation. Remains sturdy and steady on the mounting rail even after 100 of rounds. An easy buy for anyone looking for quality and performance.

I was told to not spend LESS than 200 dollars for a red dot sight by a friend who shoots AR-15's competitively. I paid $150 for this scope and got his seal of approval. I just sighted it in to a 2"" group at 100 yards with a carbine length AR. Not too bad at all. With higher quality equipment I bet I could get it down to 1"" at 100 yards. This is a great value. Plus, it has a lifetime warranty.
