I am writing this from the commuter train to downtown Montreal, Québec, Canada and spent the last 20 Minutes waiting for my train in - 27 Celsius weather (-16 Fahrenheit). My feet remained warm throughout. I bought them specially for this purpose and they are paying off. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars out of 5 is for the colour... Not a very urban look, but I do stand out! I should just order hunting gloves to match and I'll be all set. Good work UA team!
The right shoe was smaller than the left and hurt the end of my big toe. The back of the shoe dug into my Achilles tendons and made them R-A-W. The laces are too short and the top 3-hooks must be left undone in order to comfortably wear the boot. It is clear that this boot went straight from design to production without ever being field and fit tested by a human. I have read virtually identical reviews from other reviewers about other UA shoes and hoped this would be an exception. Save your money and buy something else. And UA, please don't post a generic copy/paste response telling me how sorry you are for my experience and directing me to "reach out" to one of your caring customer support staff.
I purchased these boots in October to go pheasant hunting in Iowa and bow hunting in Michigan they kept my feet dry and warm in both and I worked them hard. I had an issue with the toes which was probably my fault but UnderArmour immediately replaced them. The quality of all their products and customer service is why I have a closet full of UA!!
I bought these boots for deer hunting and have not been disappointed. I am in my stand right now (no deer yet) and my feet are toasty in about 30 degree weather. Very comfortable. Bought a half size bigger to account for 2 pairs of socks (liner and thick wool). Highly recommend!
As a contractor and work all over the northern states I run in to all kinds of cold weather conditions. Recently I was on a project in wyo. and the temps dipped to near zero. I was freezing my feet in the boots I took with me. I found these on line and ordered them for next day delivery. When I got them the first day was - 4 my feet never got cold nice and cozy. I did by them a half size bigger and they fit perfect. I wore the with one pair of heavy socks and I swear I never got cold. My wife also bought a pair of women's her size and we had to send them back to small by a half size so I recommend a half size bigger than your street shoe size. Very light boot no break in required
As a professional waterfowl outfitter and hunting guide I strongly endorse these boots. At 1200 grams, you'll find these are warm, comfortable and allow for plenty of movement. I typically set up well over 300 decoys during our Canada goose hunts and that means a good bit of walking. They are comfortable, and at temps from single digits to low 30's my feet never broke a sweat. I will admit that I was worried with that as these are 1200 gram boots. Still to come for us will be temps below 0, and I'll be ready. We hunt from pit and layout blinds, and in either situation they pass the test with an A+. I'm an old school water-fowler here working the famous waterfowl hunting grounds in Maryland and I can't say enough how impressed I am with these boots. I've seen hunting gear come and go, but this one is here to stay.
I have a pair of UA above the ankle top they are great, lightweight and durable put them to the test and they are still going strong did not think they would last. So I saw the 1200 high tops and they look great and I need a warm and comfy boot for the winter, The above ankle are great so I will try the high tops. Put them on right out of the box and they fit great ( no break in period) Just like my other 1200 boots starts with a " D " wear good and warm and comfy but are heavy. Have not put my 1200 to the test yet if they are anything like my ankle high you will put " D " out of business.
I purchased this boot after looking at several brands - mainly selecting this boot because I have never had a bad experience with Under Armor products. These boots have NOT let me down. They are comfortable, warm, durable, and - let's admit it - great looking! As usual, Under Armor has not disappointed me!
