As a professional waterfowl outfitter and hunting guide I strongly endorse these boots. At 1200 grams, you'll find these are warm, comfortable and allow for plenty of movement. I typically set up well over 300 decoys during our Canada goose hunts and that means a good bit of walking. They are comfortable, and at temps from single digits to low 30's my feet never broke a sweat. I will admit that I was worried with that as these are 1200 gram boots. Still to come for us will be temps below 0, and I'll be ready. We hunt from pit and layout blinds, and in either situation they pass the test with an A+. I'm an old school water-fowler here working the famous waterfowl hunting grounds in Maryland and I can't say enough how impressed I am with these boots. I've seen hunting gear come and go, but this one is here to stay.

The right shoe was smaller than the left and hurt the end of my big toe. The back of the shoe dug into my Achilles tendons and made them R-A-W. The laces are too short and the top 3-hooks must be left undone in order to comfortably wear the boot. It is clear that this boot went straight from design to production without ever being field and fit tested by a human. I have read virtually identical reviews from other reviewers about other UA shoes and hoped this would be an exception. Save your money and buy something else. And UA, please don't post a generic copy/paste response telling me how sorry you are for my experience and directing me to "reach out" to one of your caring customer support staff.

Very warm and comfortable; a little bulky

By

from Undisclosed

I bought this as a gift for a hunter who already has the same shoe but with 400g insulation. He loves those boots, and wanted something even warmer for cold winters. He says these are as comfortable as the 400g and fit the same, but are larger on the outside to accomodate the extra insulation, so they do add a little bulk. It's not a big issue to him, and he loves the warmth and waterproof-ness.

Not very durable

The boots fit good, comfortable, and kept my feet warm but I've owned mine about 5 months and both of them have already ripped at the seems in the same spot on each foot. I was hoping to get more than one winter out of these considering the brand and the price. But if you only plan on wearing them a couple times a year then they're great.

Big boots, but very warm

By

from Undisclosed

When I first got these boots I was concerned about how dang big they were! They looked like massive battleships on my feet. I think its do to the 1200g Gortex lining. However, they rock! I was hunting in 29 degree weather and never felt Cold once in my feet. They worked great for my climbing tree stand, as well. Overall, I'm very impressed by the warmth of these boots. Hopefully I can use them in 60 degree weather and not have a problem with sweating too much. I definitely recommend for dead of winter hunts.

The best winter boots I've ever had

I am writing this from the commuter train to downtown Montreal, Québec, Canada and spent the last 20 Minutes waiting for my train in - 27 Celsius weather (-16 Fahrenheit). My feet remained warm throughout. I bought them specially for this purpose and they are paying off. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars out of 5 is for the colour... Not a very urban look, but I do stand out! I should just order hunting gloves to match and I'll be all set. Good work UA team!

Brow Tine boots are the best

By

I purchased these boots in October to go pheasant hunting in Iowa and bow hunting in Michigan they kept my feet dry and warm in both and I worked them hard. I had an issue with the toes which was probably my fault but UnderArmour immediately replaced them. The quality of all their products and customer service is why I have a closet full of UA!!

Great boots

By

I bought these boots for deer hunting and have not been disappointed. I am in my stand right now (no deer yet) and my feet are toasty in about 30 degree weather. Very comfortable. Bought a half size bigger to account for 2 pairs of socks (liner and thick wool). Highly recommend!

Keeps your feet warm

By

As a contractor and work all over the northern states I run in to all kinds of cold weather conditions. Recently I was on a project in wyo. and the temps dipped to near zero. I was freezing my feet in the boots I took with me. I found these on line and ordered them for next day delivery. When I got them the first day was - 4 my feet never got cold nice and cozy. I did by them a half size bigger and they fit perfect. I wore the with one pair of heavy socks and I swear I never got cold. My wife also bought a pair of women's her size and we had to send them back to small by a half size so I recommend a half size bigger than your street shoe size. Very light boot no break in required

A great looking boot. Well made.

By

I have a pair of UA above the ankle top they are great, lightweight and durable put them to the test and they are still going strong did not think they would last. So I saw the 1200 high tops and they look great and I need a warm and comfy boot for the winter, The above ankle are great so I will try the high tops. Put them on right out of the box and they fit great ( no break in period) Just like my other 1200 boots starts with a " D " wear good and warm and comfy but are heavy. Have not put my 1200 to the test yet if they are anything like my ankle high you will put " D " out of business.
