This is a poor quality product. The patch box inlet was far too wide, beyond repair. The wedge pin plates were also poorly inletted. I immediately returned this product. Sportsman's warehouse was great about refunding my money and taking care of the return shipping. This review is a poor reflection on Traditions firearms. I came to traditions first, asking if they would ship me a replacement stock. They agreed, if I first shipped them my stock out of pocket. They also told me it would take 2-3 weeks for me to receive my replacement stock because their gunsmith was "busy". Do yourself a favor and order a Lyman kit.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Traditions St. Louis Hawken rifle . It was delivered befor the day that it was suppose to be delieverd. I have been shooting it and it is nice and easy to load and shoot.
