Good day pack. Best bang for the buck if you are spending a day out hunting/scouting. It was a very comfortable pack for the price. What I liked best about this pack was the chest and belt straps. It definitely holds the pack to your body in steep terrain or moving through thick brush.
I bought this pack based on reviews, and the fit in-store. It works well for carrying a days worth of gear and a jacket inside. No frame so it wouldn't be for hauling out meat or quarters, just gear. Fits everything I need for a days hunt, and survival gear should the situation arise. Could be better if it had waist belt pockets, but with money I saved on this pack, I spent an extra $10 to get o pocket which fits over waist belt. Seems to be very durable. Using it this year on a Cascade deer/bear hunt, and it has held up. Comfort is also good. Recommend this pack for hunting.
For the money ($60) this is the best thing going. It carries a load comfortably. I'm 6' , with a 21 inch torso, and I was able to adjust load lifters properly to top of shoulder. It carries everything I need for a day of hunting. Room for extra jacket, rain gear, food, survival gear, water bottle and trekking poles on outside mesh pockets. I was able to adjust it so that I could hardly tell I was wearing it on 6 mile hike. Very durable so far. Have it loaded with about 20 lbs of gear, and no thread pulls/stresses. This item is discontinued online but is still available at the stores. I was able to strap my bow to the front of it and it carried fine. Highly recommended to those on a budget.
I used this pack for day hunts in Colorado for rifle elk. It easily carried everything I needed, but best of all, it is one of the most comfortable packs I have worn. It carried a moderate load stable and comfortable. It's adjustments allowed for a 6' 230lb person to fit properly.
