TETON Sports Tracker +5 degree Ultralight Sleeping Bag(1306731)
TETON Sports Tracker +5 degree Ultralight Sleeping Bag - Innovative PolarLite insulation keeps you warm even though entire bag is thin and light. 3 piece no gap hood pulls in perfectly around your face. Bag shapes to body lines and has a vaulted foot box with an extra layer of fill to keep feet toasty, even in freezing weather.
TETON Sports Tracker +5 degree Ultralight Sleeping Bag - Finally, a mummy bag that truly is designed to keep you warm in freezing weather. Most mummy hoods pull into an oval shape, leaving ears exposed, but the TETON Sports Tracker +5 degrees F has a three piece hood that contours your face and keeps ears and head tucked in tight. Longer than most mummy bags with a soft, breathable liner, the Tracker provides an extra layer of fill in the built out foot-box that offers toes room and keeps them warm, you won?t need those wool socks. The TETON Sports Tracker +5 degrees F unzips from top or bottom with both interior and exterior zipper pulls so when mummy hood is cinched, you can still close bag all the way. Has a safety Velcro tab and zippers are fully taped with an anti-snag design and made from engineered acetal resin for extreme temperature and pressure, so they?re light-weight but still durable. Includes a heavy duty compression sack. Remember, when manufacturers rate a bag for +5 degrees F, we mean the bag will keep you from freezing to death at five degrees above zero. For comfort, get a bag rated 15-20 degrees colder than the temperature you expect. The Tracker +5 degrees F is great in cold-weather!

Paul of Philly, PA - October, 23 2013:
I'm 6'1" @ 180lb. I have 0degree Teton bag in XL size and love it. However the Tracker does not have the same comfort. It's very warm, but impossible to move your legs, and the length is too short form my height. It gave it to my 12yo son - he loves it! At 5'1", there's plenty of room for him to roll thru the night, he's never cold (been down to 35degreeF overnight) - and it packs very small - good for scout backpacking.Brandon of Harrisburg, NC - March, 08 2015:
I enjoy using Teton Sports products. The bag itself is good. I used it in approx. 23 degrees at night and it did ok, I had to keep it tight and closed over my head, and on or off cold/warm depending on how much I moved. I wore a light base layer, a fleece jacket, a hood, and wool socks, and a Teton pad (the pad was great). Not as warm as I thought it would be but it was very cold. Probably not for low 20's or colder since the 5 degree rating is the keep you alive temp. The next night was about 10-12 degrees warmer, started around 40's down to around 33-35 degrees. The bag worked perfect, I stayed warm and kept my head out of the bag. I wore the same stuff except I wore a light fleece pullover instead of a fleece jacket. For a mummy bag I believe its a good product for the price point. Being my first, I found out I do not like mummy bags, nor 20 degree weather in a bag. You cannot move around as much as I like, therefore I do not like a mummy bag but that is my problem. If you are looking for decent mid range mummy bag for 30 degree temps and higher you found it. You can also compress the bag a good bit, depending on the pack you have, you may find it an issue getting into bag compartment. I was able to compress it enough to fit into the bag compartment on a Teton Sprots Explorer 4000 bit its tight. Better if you load the bag first prior to everything else.
