So I looked at this bag among others and for the price I went with this one. Its actually 45 liters not 55 like this site says and it weighs 3.2 pounds. Even though its a smaller pack you can stuff alot into it. I can pack enough for a weekend hike. the sleeping bag area is alittle small unless you have a very compressable sleeping bag. It has everything I need in a bag much cheaper then othersKarlie of South Weber, UT - May, 07 2013:
This is i great backpack for anyone wanting a smaller bag at a great price. I got this bag as a birthday present from my boyfriend. The bag i originally picked out was a lot bigger, and I'm glad he talked me into this smaller one because it holds all of my things and is still pretty heavy for me. It looks a lot like my bpyfriends Scout 3600 but a little smaller and fewer outside pockets, but it's perfect for begginers. The sleeping bag area is a little small like the other reveiwer said, and I'm sure I could fit my compact sleeping back in it, but I just strap mine onto the outside and it stays fine.
