T/C Shockwave Super Glide Sabot - A revolution in sabot design. The Super Glide is the first sabot that can be loaded easily with one hand. Space age synthetic material is used to create this easy loading sabot. The two petal design supports the bullet for optimal rotational stability and breaks away when exiting the muzzle for match grade accuracy.
Four petal sabots can not match the accuracy of the Super Glide Sabot. These sabots are designed to withstand the high pressures of magnum loads.

packhunter51 of Carlin, NV - November, 01 2014:

My father drew a NV Muzzy bull elk tag. I'm partial to Barnes bullets in my Omega and we tried them in his Knight Disc but reloads were difficult and accuracy in his gun was very poor. So we went to these shockwave bullets. They're very accurate with 120 gr of 777. It not being my tag I just took it on faith these bullets would preform. BIG MISTAKE!!! we ended up loosing an amazing bull. Not wanting to change our setup in the middle of a short season we stuck with it saying it was a fluke. We finally got another chance at another bull. 5 bullets to the vitals and 45 mins after the 1st shot he finally expired. It was terrible and I wish he nor we had to go through that. When quartering him we found 3 blew through both front shoulders and 2 stuck just under the hide, completely unexpanded and the jacket barely even tore. We preformed one last test when we got home. The test I normally do to all my guns, fire into a Pinion Pine round; to test penetration, expansion, weight retention. These are extremely knotty and hard wood for pine, my 300 RUM usually can't muster 10" of penetration with all copper bullets. This load, of 120 gr 777 and a 250 gr shockwave, was 1" from blowing through the entire pine round. after extraction of the shockwave from the pine round we noted the only damage to it was the yellow point was broke off, no expansion what so ever on 6/6 bullets. Please do yourself a favor and shoot a different bullet!
