Swarovski SLC HD Binoculars - Building on the amazing quality and success of the original SLC series, Swarovski has now released their latest addition, the SLC HD line. The new SLC HD models represent the natural progression of world-class binoculars from Swarovski. The SLC HD combines the best parts of the original EL series binoculars in a more traditional single hinge design that resembles the SLC line. The SLC HD uses fluoride-containing glass to create a high definition image from edge to edge. The HD glass reduces color fringing to deliver high contrast images with razor-sharp outlines. Unlike the original SLC, the SLC HD models are made with the same magnesium and composite materials as the EL series. This resulted in an incredible weight savings across the line with no decrease in durability! The SLC HD series uses high-quality proprietary technologies such as the Swarobright™ coating for maximum color fidelity across the whole light spectrum and the Swarotop™ and Swarodur™ coatings for bright, high-contrast images. The non-stick effect of the Swaroclean™ coating on the outer surface of the lens makes cleaning objective and eyepiece lenses considerably easier, above all when removing dried-on mineral residues (e.g. water marks due to condensation), insect repellents and tree resin. The lenses require less intensive cleaning which significantly increases the longevity of optical products. All SLC HD binoculars include a nylon carry case, padded neck strap, objective lens covers, ocular lens cover, and Snap Shot camera adapter.
