This rod is a great rod and is reasonablly priced. I like the action that this rod has. This rod works great for bass fishing. I would recommend this rod to any angler.

Always hear that a St Croix rod is tops; mine came mared in three places and the cork was pitted. I email St Croix and never got a response. The rod is useable but is defective; I will never buy another St. Croix product; the company doesn't care if they let defective products get to people and then do nothing.

I got this for some trout fishing, it felt really high quality and has worked perfect for me. I got the medium two piece and it's worked great. I probably wouldn't use it for anything too big, but since I mainly fish trout this is perfect.
