I wish they made a large. The medium will fit my spools that are up to 3 3/4 inches in dia. and 1 inch wide, but not with the reel attached and definetly not around the rod and reel. They will fit reel and spool that are 3 1/2 inches in dia. They are the lowest price around and do a good job of protecting my reels and spools. I bought 5 medium size and put them on the reels and spools they fit.
