Had this knife for a few years now, the finish is wearing off a little, but the edge has held up well and only needed a little honing now and then. The sheath has held up well too, my only complaint is the belt loop for the sheath only fits a normal size belt and wont fit on a wider military spec gun belt. The G10 scale handle was a little rough and hard hard edges so I wrapped mine in black hockey tape to make it more comfortable. I have a number of knives, I even make knives, but this remains my favorite and it's the one I take whenever I'm going outdoors. If you want durability and reliability this is your knife.
If you're looking for a large, heavy-duty knife that you might need to abuse, this could be the perfect knife. The blade is thick 440C stainless steel, and with the tanto point, it's really tough. The handles have good grip, even when you get them wet. There are holes on the blade if you find yourself needing to make a spear. The sheath is heavy duty nylon and has a hard liner to keep the blade from cutting through it. The sheath also has a pocket for the small diamond sharpening stone that comes with the knife.
