I wore the Pivlock Arena this weekend as Team Tony's Cycle of Life rolled 220 miles across Florida in two days. The biggest problem with my previous sunglasses was that the upper frame material interfered with my vision as I got lower on the bars, especially when in the drops. With the Pivlock Arenas, there is no upper (or lower) frame and that makes all the difference in the world, plus they just look totally rad. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for the best road biking sunglasses.

I bought these sunglasses because of the stellar reviews to replace a pair of tifosis. They are a bit on the top of my budget but I decided to give them a try. They fit great, the optics are excellent but the quality is far from stellar. I'm very careful with them and clean them with only water and the optics fabric. Nevertheless, they got scuffed in one side. Sad for a product this expensive. I guess I can buy a replacement lens. But at $60, and having the risk of being scratched again for no reason, I'd say it's a hard motivation to do so. I really can't recommend them due durability. I had them a bit over a month.

In love with this set. The Rose lens are amazing in low light situation and have been great at night as well when working a later shift. Since there is no frame, the glasses just disappear onto your face. Could not be happier. Thank you
These are a great fit with excellent coverage. The ChromaPop lense is extremely clear!
The lack of a frame allows more viewing which is what I was after. Especially if you want to see mountains or other things up high. Nose bridge has two settings, set by a positive click stop. These do not slip on your nose! Nice. Keeps wind pretty much out of your eyes, at least as well as anything else other than a full face shield. I'm happy with them after trying several other pairs of sunglasses. Well made as well.
Long time fan of these frames. More and more awesome lens options keep coming out means I can always keep these functional and optimized with the chromapop lenses for mtb or fishing. I also really like the adjustable nose bridge, how each side moves independently. I had a broken nose that didn't set up straight years back (riding accident) and I can get the best fit with the adjustments on the nose bridge compared to other glasses I've tried.
Does anyone else see their eye's reflection on the inside of their lenses? It hinders my view a bit, making me think I have finger prints on the lenses however they are fresh out of the box with no prints. It's annoying. I have a pair of cheap Suncloud (a Smith company) glasses for fishing and almost get a clearer view. Would not expect this from a $189 pair of "ChromoPop" shades.
These glasses are perfect. I wanted a pair of glasses with large coverage so that when I'm in an aero position, my sight was not obstructed by the lens edge or a frame. Check! With the second lens included - you can't beat it. I was a little worried about wear on the PivLock feature, but I've done a couple lens swaps already and it looks like it will hold up nicely. The temple grips keep the glasses in place even when I run off the bike. The included case is large, but will certainly keep them safe.
disappointed in the fit around the nose, not adjustable enough to fit on bridge softly
I started lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons this summer and needed sunglasses. These have exceeded my expectations with the coverage they provide for my eyes from the sun, no "sun leaking". The look is professional yet fun. The cherry on top, I find them so comfortable I forget they are on my face. Thank you for another excellent Smith product.
Glasses fit and perform great but disappointed that the lens color on the website does not match the lens color I received.
Went with the Pivloc Max for the larger size. I still get a lot of wind coming aroung the lens and into my eyes. Overall a great product. The chroma pop lenses really do make things pop. Perhaps my head is just too big. LOL.
