The Kelvin Lite Jacket is an essential piece of gear for many types of hunting scenarios. Layering is the key to dressing appropriately. This is a great insulating layer to be worn between a base layer and shell. PrimaLoft is great for insulating because it is extremely light-weight and keeps you warm even when wet. I recently took this jacket to the tundra in northern Alaska on a Caribou hunt and it performed exceptionally well. I wore the jacket when temperatures were cooler or when I wasn't moving around much and it easily stuffed into my backpack when it was no longer needed. I have tested a lot of products for Gore and this is definitely my favorite insulating layer. You will not be disappointed with this product!!
