For the money this scope has it all. Power and really clear optics. If you are looking for a light weight back pack or a all around scope this is one for you.it comes with a case and a table top tripod.

Brent Beaton of New Castle, CO - December, 15 2012:

This scope is well worth the price. It is just what I need for the range to sight in my guns. Much better then having to walk to and from the target every six or seven shots.

jim kish of caldwell, ID - December, 17 2012:

before i purchased this spotting scope,i tried a number of different brand name spotting scopes with higher price tags and different magnifications.I use my scope @ the shooting range, nature studies, and for predator hunting.Don't let the price tag fool you! This is a quality spotting scope that comes with a very nice soft carrying case with a sturdy tripod.(if you are in a strong wind)place a small sand bag @ the base and this eill give you ample stability!I'm very pleased with scope, and it didn't hurt my budget! Don't believe some of the negative comment's on other sites.

Great Spotting Scope for the Price,

Paul of Anchorage, AK - December, 30 2012:

Scope looks great. I was real happy that it came with a stand. I will use it at the range mostly. When i opened the box, I was immediatly dissappointed in the stand. The screw that holds the top on does not work. It won't tighten so the top spins and if you tip it forward, it falls off. The nut that locks the upper neck does not work either. Lucky for me I had a couple of extra camera tripods so I used one of them. If you get this, check the tripod BEFORE you leave the store or have a backup at home.

Greg of Lexington, KY - December, 31 2012:

Scope is very nice. However, The tri-pod that is advertised with it is complete junk. If you are buying this simply because it comes with a tri-pod I would look elsewhere.

Bob Reed of Nashville, NC - March, 27 2013:

This is a very nice scope for the price range. Good clear optics and the armor coating is excellent. With a weight of just over 1 pound it's easy to carry and handle without being cumbersome. Good magnification range with sharp focus. The biggest draw back I found was the tripod. In my opinion they would have been better off not including it with the scope. It's flimsy and cheap. I wouldn't trust it at all. There is so much slop in the legs and joints it's impossible for it to hold anything steady. It's a good thing the scope is really light otherwise it wouldn't support it. The scope alone is worth the selling price of $79.99 so it's not a big lose to just throw the tripod away in favor of a better one. In fact that would be my suggestion. Overall it's a nice package and money well spent for an entry level Spotting Scope. It does come with lens caps however it would be a worth while upgrade to swap them for a set of Flip Open covers such as Butler Creek for ease of use. I would definitley recommend this scope to anyone wanting an inexspensive scope with good quality to start out with.
