I bought one of these for my sons AR and now purchasing one for myself. They are durable, accurate and a great value over something like an EO Tech, which is not needed because I'm not crawling through swamps or helocasting in on my objective.
The toggle arm to clamp it on and off of the rail is on the left hand side opposite the breach of my DPMS AR-15 After hitting tight groups in and around Bulls eye at 35 yards. I layed the weapon down on my clothe gun case on the left hand side. When I picked it up again the toggle arm of the scope snagged my rifle case pocket and the scope fell 3' to the concrete putting a ding on the top corner. I clamped it back on the scope and continued to hit bulls eye. Hit Bulls eye twice at 100 yards which is exceptional for a red dot scope.
