Frank of Midland, MI - February, 05 2016:
I had some gift cards for Sportsman's Warehouse so I was looking for something worth while to use them on. I had just purchased a 300 Win Mag and I didn't like the scope that was on the gun and wanted to replace it with a mildot style scope then I ran across these Sightmark scopes which appeared to have everything I was looking for without breaking the bank. The more I read up on them and read reviews from other sites the more I liked them so I bought both the 8.5X25 & 4X16. I was uncertain how the 8.5 X 25 would handle the recoil of the 300 Win Mag but after over 150 rounds down range it has held it's zero perfectly. The optics are very clear and are as clear as you can expect for a scope costing just under $200. Since then, friends have looked at this scope on my rifle and have purchased a few also. I know they have mounted them on 338 Lapua, 30-06 and 7mm mag's and they love them. The only downfall IMO is the rings seem cheap and light weight. I tossed them and bought what I felt were better quality rings. For the price you just can beat the clarity, options and function of these scope and they even hold up to the punishment of magnum calibers when mounted on a rock solid base & rings such as a Leupold.John Greathouse of Albuquerque, NM - June, 18 2013:
I purchased one of these scopes, mounted it on a Remington 700 in 22-250 Rem that has been blueprinted, Timney trigger, and accurized. Even though I have only been using it for a short time I am VERY pleased with it. It was easy to zero to point of aim at 200 yards and I have used it on several prairie dog hunts with shots out to 400+ yards and it has performed flawlessly for both dial ups for elevation as well as hold over. A good value for the price.
