I wanted to try out a new casting rod since the one I had was pretty old. I wanted something a little more budget friendly and this was the best that I could find. So far I've really liked it, I'm a sucker for cork grips and this thing has a lot of cork on it. It's not too heavy and is pretty easy to use. For the money I'd say it's a great pole.

This is an ok rod for a beginner or spinnerbait rod. A little soft and heavy for my liking.

Bought this rod because I broke my old one and needed a new one at the last minute. Its ok, doesnt seem to be quite as sensitive as some of my other rods but I cant complain since its only 30 bucks.

This rod is good to start someone who is new to using a casting rod. The tip loads up well and help generate lure speed to make a better cast. Fairly durable as well because of the composite construction.
