I bought one of these reels almost 4 years ago. I have fished countless hours for Salmon and Steelhead. I have had no problems with this reel and have put well over a hundred fish to the bank with it. Regular maintenance and no issues. I carry nothing but Shimano now. I use the FX 4000 for my Float/bait reel and the Sedona for drifting. Excellent product.
