I got this rod for my kid. It is a great rod for a kid. Its all the rod he needs. I like the price but you get what you pay for.

This is a great rod for the price. Obviously its no tournament quality rod but its great for some weekend fishing. I'm not easy on my equipment and this thing takes a beating. Reasonably sensitive for the price. I have the 6' 1 piece medium power and ive pulled in plenty of trout, walleyes and 10-20 lbs catfish on 10 lbs floro. Has stood to it and keeps going. The cork is kind of cheap and will crack and pieces will come off. But for $18 it is a fantastic rod. I love companies that can make a great product for a good price.
