Schrade SCHF3 Extreme Survival Knife - Survival isn't something to be taken lightly, and the Schrade SCHF3 Extreme Survival Knife isn't either. The partially-serrated black coated 440C stainless steel blade is 6.25" long, so no need to worry about a small blade letting you down. The black nylon sheath has a hard liner to prevent the blade from cutting through, and also has a handy gear pocket to carry items like a sharpening stone. The Micarta handles are impervious to most fluids and offer a great grip. The wrist lanyard makes sure the knife stays with you when it the most.

I was at first apprehensive about this knife. I was looking for a complete survival knife that was both rugged, reliable, band could hold an edge. I was looking at knives that costed $180+ and I came across the SCHF3. It had a wide back and the handle felt very comfortable plus the knife blade went through the handle. The construction is that of those that cost over $200, I was amazed at the price. It's well balanced and I compared it to the SOG, which had an embarrassing thin blade. I thought I could abuse this knife and show it's flaws but it held up and showed no weakness. It's my new favorite knife and I'd take this knife anywhere. You won't find a knife like this at this very low price with this capability! You can buy two for the price of those fancy name brands that I won't care to mention.
