bought this as a primary hunting rifle. has excellent accuracy with most everything except junk ammo. sub 1/2 inch 5 shot groups at 200 yds. 1 to 1.5 inch at 300. has a good balance and maneuverability. put a generic muzzle brake on and recoil was more than manageable. the fore end of the stock is slightly flimsy but I just inleted the barrel and reinforced it with fiberglass and stiffened right up. still free floated. still not as good as a quality stock but serves well. all in all a rifle well beyond its dollars.
I've had my Hog Hunter 308 for over 6 years now and I've used it to take elk, deer, bear, coyotes and various small varmints. It shoots tight groups with nearly every load I've tried. 20" is a great practical length for 308, compact but not at the loss of much velocity or the increase in muzzle blast. The large bolt knob is great for fast cycling and doesn't stick out too far. I love the iron sights(even though I have a scope on 99% of the time) and the threaded barrel will come in handy for a can or brake. The accutrigger is great as always and I've never had an issue with feeding, extracting/ejecting, or ignition. If I could only have 1 rifle for everything, this would be it.
Love this gun will shoot under 1 moa with good ammo all day long. For the price you cant go wrong. Took for whitetails with it in 2015 no problem.
