Rio Avid Trout WF Fly Line - Rio's new Avid Trout Weight Forward lines were designed with serious fly fisherman in mind. Made with the correct tapers and new technology that will make your fly fishing trips more successful.



Rio Avid Trout WF Fly Line - An all-purpose trout line with an easy casting taper. The supple, self lubricating coating is incredibly slick and features AgentX technology for that little bit of extra distance. The front-loaded taper casts all fly sizes with ease and delivers excellent turnover and presentation. The line is slightly heavier than the AFTMA standard and allows casters to feel the rod load - especially useful on modern, faster action rods. A welded loop on the front end allows for easy rigging.

I really like this line, I use it on the rivers here and think it has a good weight and balance in a variety of weather conditions. I use the 5weight.
