I bought this setup thinking it was going to have to hold me over until next season when I will have a bit more money saved, but it's a really nice setup. The reel feels really smooth, and the rod is flexible enough, but not flimsy feeling. I'm not even sure I'm going to spend more money on another setup next year. Totally exceeded my expectations.

Reel spins really smooth. I've taken this combo out with me a few times and never had any problems like tangles or anything like that. The rod has just enough play to be able to feel small tugs, but is still pretty strong. Great setup.
