I was looking for several life vests. I did some research online with the U.S. Coast Guard on different types of vests. I bought this vest because of price and function. Coast Guard approved. I liked the weight, fit, and I was able to move around well enough not to bind or irritate me or my movement using an oar etc. Comfort, light weight lovely blue color.
