Old Town Predator MX Fishing Kayak(1373944)
Old Town Predator MX Fishing Kayak - Fishing from a kayak delivers an all new experience to the avid angler. The Old Town Predator MX is over a foot shorter that it's brother, the Predator 13, making it ideal for mixed water conditions.
Old Town Predator MX Fishing Kayak - From bow to stern as well as above and below the waterline Old Town has engineered the Predator MX Kayak to give you a stable platform for kayak fishing in mixed water. The Predators slightly rounded hull is great for moving water while still maintaining it's stability. The two position Element seat adjusts from travel to attack heights. The Travel position provides a lower center of gravity when you need more stability. The Attack position provides raised seating when fishing. The Element seating system can also be quickly flipped out of the way into the Stand-Up position for sighting and casting. Old Town built in a slip resistant Exo-Ridge deck into the Predator for even better grip while standing. Dual tip holders at the bow make storing rods easy and side mounted retainers allow for convenient grab-and-go casting. A Stand Up Assist Strap provides added leverage when standing. With the Predator 13 Kayak you'll now be able to bring the fight to the fish!

Jeremy of South Jordan, UT - August, 20 2013:
Having paddled both the Predator 13 and the MX, I can say that I prefer the MX slightly, but would be thrilled to own either one of them. For my uses, the MX is just a slightly better design due to the shorter length, better maneuverability and more open deck design. If you fish and paddle mostly on smaller streams and rivers, or small lakes, I'd highly recommend the MX. For trout or smallmouth fishing, I think this boat would be murder!
