Old Town Predator 13 Fishing Kayak(1373943)
Old Town Predator 13 Fishing Kayak - The Predator 13 was completely engineered, below and above the waterline, to deliver the perfect platform for fishing and all other on-water sports.
Old Town Predator 13 Fishing Kayak - Everything about the Old Town Predator 13 Kayak has been designed with fishing in mind. Seating, rod placement, and paddle holders were all positioned for easy access while out on the water. An all new seat format allows for two different heights. The Travel position provides a lower center of gravity when you need more stability. The Attack position provides raised seating when fishing. The Element seating system can also be quickly flipped out of the way into the Stand-Up position for sighting and casting. Convenient recessed storage on both sides of the boat provide quick access to your gear. With the Predator 13 Kayak you'll now be able to bring the fight to the fish!

I had an opportunity to paddle both the Predator 13 and the MX a few weeks ago. The 13 would definitely be the boat of choice for anyone fishing on mid-size or larger rivers, or any decent sized lake. Just got back from salmon fishing in Alaska, and couldn't stop thinking how fun it would be to hook into a 10 pound Silver on this, let alone a 50 pound King! Tracking ability is quite good for a 13 footer, and hull speed is above average for this sort of wider stand up/sit on top kayak. I'm also a fan of pod in the center of the console as it gives a lot of organization for your tackle. Bottom line, this is the better choice for paddlers on bigger water, or for the guy who hauls along a lot of gear.
