This is a good entry level reel. It has a decent drag and has a smooth retrieve. I would recommend this for a starter or young kid.

This is a great reel for the money you pay. It does exactly what it is supposed to do at a price any person can afford. Not to mention, you can have entire extra reels instead of just extra spools for your different lines. I've got a bunch of them and they work exactly how I expect them to.
