I was pleasantly surprised with this product when I got it assembled. I really didn't expect too much from a $25 rod rack, but it's pretty sturdy. Keep in mind it is not a heavy hardwood rack- it's plastic, but that's a good thing because it can never get ruined by moisture, won't rot, doesn't have a lacquer finish to chip, and can't swell. All of the fasteners are metal, with threaded metal inserts in the plastic. It is perfectly stable standing on the floor. I have 14 rods in mine ranging from kid's size to over 7', all but one rod have the reels on them. It is pretty full at that with the reels, I will end up buying another rack with my next rod purchase. Overall bang-for-buck this rack CAN NOT be beat!
