Okuma Avenger Spinning Reel - Okuma's patented baitfeeding system allows anglers to disengage their spinning reel spool and allow their bait to run freely. The baitfeeding system incorporates a secondary micro-adjustable drag system at the rear of the reel that allows for precise adjustment of the spool for bait control. In order to disengage the system, simply turn the handle. The On/Off lever on the rear of the reel will automatically disengage the baitfeeding system so you can fight your fish with the main drag system.

Great reel for the price. No issues at all. Taking it out to catch some Flathead Catfish this weekend. the Baitcaster is great for live-bait.

This is one of my favorites for several reasons. Small, light weight, 5 ball bearings, smooth, and balanced. Look for this as a combo and you have a great ultra light set up.

I feel this reel is too big and bulky for its test weight. It has some wobble and a fairly slow retrieve. The exception though is it is moderately priced.

I just got back from a 2 1/2 day tuna trip out of San Diego and used this reel almost exclusively to catch both Yellow Tail and Yellowfin Tuna. It performed flawlessly! I was seriously impressed with the 50 series reel. The bait runner system was superb and the drag handled both fish with no problem. The reel was super smooth even with fighting big fish. I will be buying another one very soon.
