Tried out the beef stroganoff on my last backpacking trip. Not my favorite Mountian House but not bad.

This is without question my favorite Mountain House. It is both filling and tasteful. One thing that I would recommend is to start out with a little less water than the package claims (package states two cups, I usually start with 1.5 cups). Hot sauce adds to the flavor of this one.

I asked the salesman at the store what he thought about this flavor. He said it was "as good as Mom's." I don't know about his mom's stoganoff, but the Mt. House is better than my mom's stroganoff (don't tell her). I will be getting this flavor again!
